Krakon (fanstasy con in Kraków, Poland) has invited Pratchett.pl to organise Discworld events. One of the ideas is to play a big battle - Thud! with a really big board and lots of people taking part. It will not be boring for anyone even those who don't know the rules.
Currently they're looking for people who would like to participate as the figures of dwarwes and trolls. They need more than 40 people for that. There also has to be Death who will be taking the dead ones off the board. He will need some helpers. Also needed are people dressed in black robes who will be animating those parts that people
can't act like throwing a dwarf on a troll's head. Naturally they're looking for people who are interested in having real fun!
There will be 2 teams playing. One person may think too much, and if there are 2 or 3 of them they may actually play better (I hope so). There will be several people commenting on everything and others explaining rules to the audience!
We really hope somebody will have a video camera so they can post videos of it here.
