I started reading Men @ Arms and am about 50 pages in and to be honest i am finding it not as good as my other disc reads, it has not been as entertaining for me and i must admit i am struggling a little bit to read it instead of watching the box,
did anyone lese find this book a bit like this to begin with?
i will finish it as i think it will pick up

i think the early books are harder to read. but it is worth it reading these as well, cuz so you get all the details.
but these are only my thoughts.

I read it later on and I think I agree with Pinky, they are a bit harder to read but once you get used to his style, they become enjoyable. I liked it though.

Re: Men @ Arms
i enjoyed it alot, having read the entire series in order it seems to help. i admit it does not have such magical darkness and mystery and just downright amazing-ness of thud! but still a good book non the less.
