Hi Y'All,
Bad news mates. I'm just in from a weekend and more of Mardi Grassing, and learned that Palm had to go to the ER because of an inflammation of tendons (or muscles) of his ankles, and the Igors decided it was serious enough to have him stay overnight and probably longer. Bad news in itself, but what's worse is that the Igors "promised" him a German con this weekend is definitely out of the question. Bummer, bummer, bummer, he was SO looking forward to it.
Please leave your best wishes in reply, and I will make sure he gets them in print. Thanks all!!

Hi Y'all,
It was brought to my attention by parties I will not name that quite a lot of you have asked about Palm's health. I told him about it and offered to translate and post on his behalf. This is what he would like to tell you:
My health has been slowly improving in the last two and a half months. Sometimes I still feel very tired, but looking at the big picture I can see progress. I think I will be able to get back to Thudding around the end of may, or the beginning of june.
I would like to thank everyone who has asked about my health and wish the ITT07 (semi)finalists good luck with their last games. Of course I will grab the opportunity to challenge the winner (and the three others as well) for a nice game of Thud once I'm back.
