Judo,Jiu-Jitstu,Karate and other Japanes sports

*hee hee hee...* I do muai tai boxing if that counts.but it probably doesn't if all you do is stand there and get beaten to a pulp by your sparring partner (who also happens to be half the size of me). damn those tiny ninja freaks.

I do wado-ryu style karate and i am a brown belt and by the end of this year i should have my black belt

Oh....We have some "blue-belt waerers" that's 1 belt under brown....

Does it count that I made a bit of Ninjutsu in my teens?

Sadly I haven't had the will and patience to stay at it.

But I still know the one or other Trick and catch me sometimes in doing things the way I learned them back then.

I do Aikido and Kyudo, though the latter might not count as martial art in the way you thought about it.

since i'm not one to beat around the bush(take that comment how you will)i train in the art of finding-something-blunt-and-hitting-you-with-it-really-hard.
and also the art of rolling-with-my-homeys style

Well all right some postings up someone complains about little freaky ninja types.

Well the average Ninja should be able to write in his vita that he has learned Ninjutsu.

To give you some information this is what Wiki says about ninjutsu.

I learnt traditional Kung-fu (White crane, tiger, mantis, shaolin etc etc) for a while a got up to purple sash (7 away from black) before I had to give up because of the cost..then I did a little bit of Wing chun and messed about with a bit of Southern Praying-mantis but never learnt much..

I also do alot of european sword stuff, not fencing..I'm talking English Broadsword 'chop you in half with one swipe' kinda sword play...

oh and I throw knives..

Muai tai hasn't got belts but you can get these armband thingies that go from green being the lowest to red being the highest (I think). The funniest thing about it is he dances you have to do at the start of each test in homage to buddha.

hey bursar, ive started throwing knives at my karate class last week even though its not strictly wado-ryu or even realy korean karate to throw knives a woman who helps out does it realy well.

i have been practising every day since last saturday and i hit my dad in the shoulder with a practise stick thing when i was aiming for his head so i was quite proud of myself,

anybody else do any throwing darts knives or deathstars?

Do you all have Dan at your sports?At Judo we have 10 (1-5 black 6-7 redwhite 8-9 red 10 red and white...Can't explain that so good....

i think you mean that your grades are not only defined by colour but by dan

In my style it is like this:

White - 1st Kyu

Red - 2nd Kyu

Yellow - 3rd Kyu

Orange - 4th Kyu

Green - 5th Kyu

Blue - 6th Kyu

Purple - 7th Kyu

Brown - 8th Kyu

Black - 9th Kyu

then after black belt we have Dan gradings

1 Stripes - 1st Dan
2 Stripes - 2nd Dan
3 Stripes - 3rd Dan
4 Stripes - 4th Dan

there has only ever been a handfull of fourth Dan blackbelts in my style

yeah,i throw darts at things called dartboards,i'm getting quite good too.i used to have a throwing star,but my friend lost it when he thought he saw a ninja and threw it into a bush.

all my friends have done wing chun during some time of their life,and some still continue today,but i never did this sort of stuff,so when we got out drinking it always looks like they're my bodyguards cos i stand in the middle and these uber beefy dudes are all walking around me.

im not sure if that is entirely correct but its pretty accurate

that's funny!We've got orange-green (between orange and green) belts but no purple belts....

i wear belts made of leather,frankly i think they last longer as you people seem to change belts often enough.you always say things like 'i just moved from a green to a purple belt',whereas my belt is black and i wear it a lot longer,leather is stronger and more durable,that's why it costs more,how much does a green belt cost?

1.)I heard of a purple belt....
2.)I saw a belt which was 3.00meters long

you guys should realy look up a weapon called 'the flying guilotine' its a legendary weapon said to have been used by some chinese/japenese emporers fatal secret bodygaurds,

its like a hat that falls down over you head to you neck (like a bucket) then at what would be the rim of the bucket is blades that behead you!!!, and the whole thing is on a chain so they throw it over you, tug the chain to close the blades then pull away the flying guilotine with your head inside!!!

yes it is true but is shrouded in a lot of myth so thers lots of lies, but i saw something on the discovery channels on it and they made one and tested it on dummies etc and it was awesome

also as ther was no decent pics or descriptions on the net i drew a picture that shows how it is activated etc, it is reli cool but i dont kno how to post it, help anyone?
