I don't have much time at the moment, since I'm about to embark on Orientation Week at Melbourne University, but when I resurface I'll definitely consider this proposal. I take pride in not treating Punctuation like a game of, Pin the tail On the donkey, so perhaps I would be suited to an editing role of some sort.

Is it possible to see a sample of what's been contributed so far?

And is it possible to enlist the services of somebody who can contribute cartoons, if there isn't someone already?

EDIT: I don't mean to imply that I have a cartoonist in mind, I just think there ought to be one...

Time is not realy a problem as the first issue that we are doing at the moment has no deadline. It is more of a test to find a good system etc, you are more than welcome to help us and if grammar is your forte then im sure we can find something for you to do.

we hope to get lots of people each doing little jobs to put the whole thing together so no-one is overwhelmed.

cartoonists is an idea we have already considered, we have got many ideas presently but i would prefer not to release them over a 'public' forum for obvious reasons.

please PM me with a bit of background info about yourself so we find tasks that suit you best etc,

Major Story - Main story of the paper, including large picture and headline, (2 man job?)

Minor Story - Any less dramatic story for front page includes headline

Witches weather predicitons - The weather predictions for the week

Readers sent in story - make-up a story sent in from a reader of the paper (readers pic)

Funny Story - Can be any funny/humerous story (Pic and headline)

Political column - Anything the writer wants to do realy another very small part

Other countries current affairs - can be about anywhere on the disc includes headline

Fashion Column - An article about the upcoming disc fashions

Wizard Watch - a conspiracy theorists column who is suspicious of wizard activity, small part

City Gaurd article - any story from the city gaurd

Finance section - who should the people of ankh-morpork be investing in?, this is a small part

Recipes column - any recipe idea for cabbage stews and rat pies, this is a small part

Jobs and vacancies sect - Sorry I Have Taken This One

For sale and Requests - what to the people of the sity sell and buy, you decide

The Witches Horoscopes - write as any witch predicting the future of the citizens, this is a small part.

its okay i still am doing this project but the interest was very little so doing it solo was difficult and i did stop for a long while but im still willing to take people on who want to help,
