I thought i had mentioned this one b4 but could not see it on the to do list
Now that we have many more people playing the live game regularly it would be useful for the names of those already playing to change colour so that new people logging in can see who is playing and who is waiting for a game. i think this would help.

If it was really clever the colours could match - so if I was playin OB, both our names would be, say, blue, and if SANEAlex was playing Palm their names would be in green...
Or do people think it should be able to stay private until the players chose to reveal it? - I'm always keen to preserve privacy, cos you never know where the risk is online, but I cant see it being a big problem...

I think that this would be a nice extra but thinking of Dewi's things to do list it might be simpler to just go for a uniform colour change if playing or not hopefully it would not involve to much extra codeing and give a good value of functionally for effort involved.
But if i could add to wish list of it would be nice if... then the colour code thing that u suggested along with hover over name gives you the game number their are playing so that if no one else is available then you can watch the game being played using the http://game.thudgame.com/getgame/ function.
