Hiya mate! Welcome to the site! sorry it's not worked smoothly first time. I just tested it on FF2.0.0.1/Linux (reg'd my wife on her e-mail... no, she wasn't the 897th! 898th, actually....
) and it worked fine. Have you checked your spam folder? Might be lurking there...
Again, welcome here and we hope you enjoy yourself!

Re: Registering & Firefox
Ive just had similar problems - im guessing related to the hotmail address (nothing in junk folder or inbox). Using Gmail address to signup worked instantly.

Hmm, to be fair, I tested the process using a Gmail account. There may be hotmail issues; not sure yet how to sort these out. Anyone know about hotmail spam protocols/whitelists or SPF requirements?

UPDATE: It might be this hotmail issue, this one or this similar issue that affects Ponder's uni. All are within the past three months so looks like something Micro$soft has cooked up to get people to pay for their premium service as detailed here (might have to click the thru link to get past the ads to the article).
We've made a couple of changes to our DNS as well so lets see if this improves things at all.
