you're going to laugh but I numbered my thingy so that every row and column are numbered and lettered respectively which means that column l only goes to 13
columns f-J go 1-15, k 2-14 l 3-13 m 4-12 n 5-11 and o goes 6-10 as an octagon does. So what did I do wrong?

okay,the top row of the board is 1,and it goes down to 15.
then you go from left to right starting with A and go to P so that A8 to P8 divides the board in half across the borad

this suggests that the number of digits is the same as the letters and that there are 15 of each
