drinking

beer,i really like beer.
we've got amstel and heineken,windhoek lager,castle,black label.i once tried fosters,now i know why australians don't drink it,and then there's budwieser,which is ok,but everything in america is 'light'.

what sort of percentages do you have over there?

It depends. Beer, wine, sparkling wine etc., well, the weaker stuff is allowed with 16, for the stronger stuff (tequila, whisky...) you have to be 18.

unofficially I enjoy Vodka cruisers (I kill the first person to make a snide remark...except Ook who will die shortly anyway once we find a forum to continue our duel) Vodka mixed with juices/cordial, sweet beer...I like sweet things, sweet liquers etc also the first time I got drunk was off rum mmm rum. -I've never had a hangover!
Soon I shall move to Canberra though where the law is more...lax to the point that Marijuana is decriminalised. Alas by then I'll be 18 and that takes all the fun away.

BEER is NOT SWEET,it's meant to be bitter so that people can quaff it down and then go ngaahha because the taste is supposed to be satisfyingly unlike any other drink,if i wanted sweet i'd take a walk to the cafe on the corner and get one.

Drinking is good. Champagne is good. Beer is weird. Wich does not mean its not good. Drinking is not not good. Smoking is not good. Smonking is BAD.

i have grown quite partial to water every now and again

but not too much water,you have to have more alcohol in your system than anything else but blood,they say that if you have more alcohol in your system than blood that it's bad,i don't know about that though.

Well, I've always defined sobriety as a state brought about by an excess of blood in the alcohol stream

i think that tea is most definately the way forward. in my flat at uni we have like 5 people and we go through about 600 bags in a week or something crazy. then i LOVE the twinings herbal teas. and not just because Steven Fry is a legend. in fact i might just start a thread about him...

Absinth is actualy not that bad only that it tastes of anis and is ueber strong alcohol wise and had a convulsive neurotoxin extracted from wormwood but only in small doses and the oiginal experiment used to prove that absinth was bad was as bogus as drowning someone in water to say water is poisonous

it's kinda like the time my friend and i were walking to college after we went to the shop and he was drinking a coke that had gotten warm and he said,and i quote

'this coke tastes like penis'

shame,he'll never live it down now

amazing. coke is yucky syrupy gunk and should never be let out. Same goes for Dr. Pepper, Pepsy, Coca Cola etc. diet coke is yummy though.

it has a sweet sickly tast n makes my teeth feel like they're coated in something. Diet Coke is nice (dont think i drink it for the 'diet' thing) it's a great accompaniment for films and pringles.
