The BBCode on the site is necessarily limited to commonly used tags that can also be replicated with the buttons above the textarea when you create a post. The site doesn't parse BBCode in the way a forum such as vBulletin or phpBB does; rather it's run thru a filter that converts it to HTML which is displayed on the page (provided the HTML tags are allowed by the user role in question). The allowed tags are the ones that are the equivalent to the "filtered-HTML" list.
Additionally, Site Druids are allowed to use full HTML, and only admins can insert php scripts, for obvious reasons.
