I tried in these days to log-in in the chat, but I experienced a little
problem.
I arrive and the chat accept me normally as GUESTXXXX.
Then i try to log-in vith my nick: I write "Stellascura" and my password.
This is the answer of the chat:
guestXXXX became: Stellascura
Logging as: Stellascura
- NO COW: Bad name or password: guesting
Message from GameServ: Login failed. Unknow username or password.
You can play as a guest, or try to log again. You can register for free
on http:\\forum.thudgame.com.
The server has given you the name: guestXXXXX
Private message from GameServ: havename guestXXXXX
Stellascura became: guestXXXX
Logged in succesfully!
It's my wrong or there is something in the script that don't work well?
I noticed it hust now... I cannot also change the settings in my account.
It seems that there are problems with my password, even if I'm sure it
is correct...

Yeah, sorry for this folks; we identified this earlier in the week (thanx to OB, SANEALex and others!
) and thought we had it fixed but it needs a bit more work. We hope to have it fixed very soon!

No mate, apologies from us. The point of the site is that the game is at the centre of a community, and used to create a community economy, so if you can login to the game you won't be able to do a lot of the really cool stuff we're getting ready for early next year. No forgiveness necessary

I can still play Thud online... it's only a problem of identity. Every time in chat we must poit out who we are

Sorry to be a pain but i am having a similar issue logging in and having my nick displayed i get the following
Logging in as Mr C.M Evily
Private message from GameServ: goodname guestXXXXX
then nothing, doesn't stop me playing just an identity crisis so to speak
if you can assist i would appreciate it
