I'm here only to introduce myself in your community.
I'm only a little, trembling librarian from Italy, falled in love
for the books of Pratchett some times ago (I'm not discovereded the
L-Space for now, but there are possibilities...) and since then
thriving to read all the possible. Not an easy task...
here in Italy the books of the Discworld are seldom translated and
selled.
Only three days ago i discovered that the game described in Thud!
(that I read in english... not an easy task... my albionic isn't wery
good... you noticed it????) is REALLY produced and gamed.
Joy and cheers!!!
I ordered a box and now I'm here in anxious waiting... In the meanwile,
I thought, why not babbling a little (peraphs training my english in
the same time) with others madmen like me? Learning something of the
game BEFORE i can handle it with my pale and weeping hands?
And here I am.
Maybe you'll be not too sad of this... only maybe.
And if I say that I can send you some good recipe of italian food?

bloody hell that was amazing! your english there was a little lets say "different" in places, but sounded so poetic and it was genius. i laughed out loud at some of things too

I hope my english is AT LEAST comprehensible. I haven't a lot of occasion to speak (or writing) in your odd (and a little barbaric... too "h" and few vovels... and too regular for a man born in a land WITHOUTH a real national language but full of regional variations... without a dozen or so possible permutatione of a single verb or abjective I'm a little lost... I'm digressing... ) language.
The laugh is welcome.
