Well, we're just about there (as far as our list goes, that is...). we've moved from one part of the filesystem to another, from the Civicspace distribution to full-blooded Drupal and from version 4.6 to 4.7 all at once. T'would be boring to do it one at a time-- that would be just too easy! Wink We're sorry for the disruption; this should be the last, great, disruptive upgrade we have to do. Most of the things above were done so that we don't have to upgrade in such a painful way again. But time to take a breath and update everyone on where we are... Shocked

As far as we can tell almost all of the functionality has now been restored or improved. Some things that didn't work (emailpage, comment preview, etc.) have been fixed and a lot of new things have been added. A couple of things are still on the list-- user avatars are still being tested and we want to add user badges with them very soon. I hope to have a complete list soon Smile

We've added some things in response to feedback requests so please give us more! What needs tweaking, what needs fixing and what would else you like to see? Feedback is good! Smile

Right. Sleeve's are being rolled back up and off we go back to the code mines Smile

Right. Well we thought we had 99% of it sorted. Found a big glitch last night-- users couldn't register! Shocked Holy Blockades, Batman!

Well, it's fixed temporarily as of this morning but we'll need to fix it permanently to get the e-commerce stuff working. Actually, that's not true, we'll need to fix it permanently to get the ecommerce stuff working like we want it to (and OOOOoooh, have we got some cool stuff to start selling!!! Very Happy), but anyway, new folk can register and join the site now.

Big thanx to Angua, DerTom and an anonymous guest on Online Thud last night who tried to register for pointing this out to us. Cheers for the heads up folks!! Very Happy

Note on user reg's: After deleting all spammers and pagerank skiddiots last week, as of Monday morning we had 762 registered users on the site. So we've officially doubled our membership in 3 months and are growing at 4 times the rate of the old site. Not to take the credit for this, I;m sure a certain #1 bestselling paperback has a lot to do with it Wink

Right. work continues... Neutral

Indeed! Keep up the good work, matey-mate! It's working a treat. I can confirm that we're just a quantum particle's width under 800 members now! Must be your magnetic personality, Ponder! Smile

On other things to update on: I've disabled the chatroom/chatbox apps as 1) we have a perfectly good chat client here that also happens to be quite popular at times, and b) there were technical issue with it that we don't have the time or inclination to look into at the moment so it's been put on ice.

Some will have noticed that user account pages, content creation pages, the shop, etc. are all running as secure pages now. I will be adding a secure user login link this week, but folk can already login securely at http://www.thugame.com/user/login. The shop has also been brought into the www site and isn't on a separate static HTML site any longer.

We're still tweaking the site in response to user feedback so if there s something you think should get attention please let us know here.
