In a few hours, Sinterklaas will arrive in The Netherlands. It's a dutch tradition, but if you read this wiki link you'll be surprised to how close to home it really is.
In The Netherlands, this is a time to give gifts to children, and "surprises"[ *] to adults. Mostly, and especially, on the night of december 5. I'm dutch, and I kinda like this tradition, so I would like to give out a few surprises as well. Not to all of you, mind you, I can only give out five at this time [**], and you will need to look for it and unwrap it 
.
Somewhere in my pages, there's a link to a new page. It's hidden. It could be a redirected button, or a single letter that links to somewhere else, or an image even[***}. Find it, read carefully, and do what the new page says. It is a very nice surprise, and you'll be the envy of your fellow thudgame users if you manage to find it.
For reasons that will become clear in the very near future, Lee and I decided administrators cannot get this surprise. Sorry.
I will keep you updated on who has found one, and the surprises will be sent out on december 5.
Of course I will try to keep things interesting by moving the hidden link every day, or even more if need be. We wouldn't want anyone cheating by getting hints from others, would we?

[**]There will be more later. This looks like an Easter Egg Hunt, and it is. But why wait with a very nice idea untill Easter, when Sinterklaas is in town, right? Check my blog a few weeks before Easter, and find your Egg if you missed this one. Or the Sinterklaas after that. Yes, this will be a twice a year tradition!

Besides, that would be downright cruel, expecting you to check a million of links . Savegames pages though, there's a lot of text in those, besides savegame-links...... heh heh heh

No one has found the surprise yet, even with the loophole I thought of earlier today. Since it's been a busy day for me, and traffic in here on weekends is fairly low anyway, I'm not going to bother changing it.
I will do that tomorrow, so here's your chance. Smartypants Thudders all: find the loophole, find the Sinterklaas Surprise!

Magrat has found it too, and she's very happy with it. So still four to go, unless Dearmer changes his mind.
The loophole was that I named the secret page "Sinterklaas2006". Anyone smart enough to search the code for my pages for the word Sinterklaas would have found it immediately.
I changed that, there's no reference whatsoever to Sinterklaas anymore. The link has been moved as well, it's now on a different page.

. Admins weren't supposed to join the Hunt, and still I accepted Mr Scrub as one of the winners. I should have pointed that out to him when he told me he found the Surprise, but in my enthousiasm I totally forgot about it.

Palm found it, but (this was Lee's idea actually) since he's ThudMeister 2006 he would have gotten The Surprise anyway.
