Hi all,
We recently bought a copy of Thud from bursarvixen. The main problem we had was there was no board or rules, just the pieces. Then we noticed it hadn't been shrinkwrapped and many of the pieces were chipped - maybe they were chipped in transit because the board wasn't there to hold them down, but maybe it was a display copy of the game?
Are the games usually shrinkwrapped in plastic? Are pieces often chipped (little white bits of plaster visible)?
Thanks all!
Ben

Update
Ok have had an email from bursarvixen explaining that due to a shipping weight issue they opened the shrinkwrap and posted the other bits separately (we're in Australia). All sounds good! And I must say excellent customer service..
Paul also said he'd queried the marked pieces with the manufacturer and they said that's not unusual, so no worries there either. I guess I posted too soon
Mods feel free to delete this thread if that's the done thing..
EDIT: Oh and I should say - 13 days shipping to Australia on the first bit!! I was very stoked with that as it's for a christmas pressy..

Re: Update
I've e-mailed sync offsite but just to say here as well, pieces should not be chipped or otherwise damaged from shipping or manufacture. Should they be, contact your retailer about it and let us know as well!
