We're just about to upgrade the website with a major software upgrade. This will allow us to deliver some of the things we've been promising for a while such as the cities, it should knock out some bugs such as the userpoints bugs, etc. and will enable us to offer several things as nice surprises that we haven't trailed here yet.
As a part of this process I'm working on the skin for the site. The layout is working in all major browsers (without extra, browser-specific CSS hacks!
) and I'm starting on the styles and colours-- the look and the aesthetics of the site.
As long as the work is ongoing I thought I would ask everybody to chip in an opinion and say what you thought in a poll in which you can comment on as well. Should we keep the same look, change it to something like the "Koom Valley in Wintertime" look, or go for something completely different. Do let us know because we want to create a site you all want to see on your screen ![]()

Tell us your opinion about
Lee,
Didn't you tell us in one of our conversations you were thinking of making the look optional, so that users could choose between the darker and lighter style?
If not, or if I misunderstood, then my vote would be this, the dark one.

Heh, I read that as "...the darker or lighter SIDE" Insert Star wars jokes as appropriate!

But, yes, I would like to do that but ran into some problems doing it with the current site. As long as I was in the process of skinning the upgrade site I thought I would ask everyone what they thought and do that first. Poll only runs for 7 days total so get your votes in quickly!
