I've been gettin a few vibes that most of the Thudding community is in bed at 7 (by my standards) so I was wondering if any of you guys could give me a ball park guess as to where you live cause I really need to time this a lot better! By the by I live in California.

You are quite right, Sinewt. I am in Boston, and even I am in bed by your 7, because I am up at my 6.
It's a fact that there are few folks from the New World here. I think you will find that most are from the U.K. and the Netherlands. Although we do have our Aussies, too.
This does make it hard for us from forn parts to find people on the client sometimes. I have occasionally made arrangements (tip o' the hat to Dearmer) to play a game at a certain time, but I end up playing most of my games on the forum. Which is fine, because I learn more that way. Real-time makes me nervous.
The only solution is, more Thud players from everywhere!

On Newfoundland's east coast, 7 in California is like 11:30, so I'm pretty much out of the picture too. I think the big question is not just what time zones people are in, but what times they want to play! It's a fascinating thing to log in to the client, only to find people who are just hanging out, but not actually looking for a game! (I may never understand that one...)
As I write this, it's about 7pm in the UK, and it seems to be getting on for Prime Time (although the client has been packed at other times) but it's just too early for me to play. On those days when I'm working at home, it's just the time to tempt me to piss away the rest of my afternoon, but I mustn't yield to temptation!
Is it perhaps time to resurrect the peak thudding hours thread again, now that we're growing and picking up more international players?
