Any chance of numbering the board?

I've played a bit of chess, where you can number the board and record the games...is there any hope at all of doing the same for Thud!? This way...(this sounds very silly, I know) I can play correspondence Thud! with my friend who lives in Brighton.

I presume you are talking about the live client thud game - if this is the case then you don't really need numbers - as you can both see whats going on at the same time. Also if you are playing people along way a way then maybe start a game of forum thud? you would both need accounts though - and also downloading the thudgame application might be a good move

Plus i am also going to move this topic into the suggestions forum as i feel its more suited there - any objections please do PM me.

and also - welcome to thudgame forums!

The other thing to note is that there is a numbering system in use - the easiest way to use it is to download Marc Boeren's Thudboard program, which converts the codes (e.g. T N7-M6) into a move on the board and vice-versa. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can just use this image of a board with the number codes on, tho I'd say that using thudboard is much easier.

The other other thing to note is http://www.thudgame.com/getgame of course Smile

But yes, you can make the live game look pretty in any way you want once I have sinning in. For a small fee, of course.

[edit: I meant "sKinning". "Sinning" is definitely extra!]
