What is the state of your board?
I've noticed a few people have asked about replacement boards (it sounds like some people get a bit to enthusiastic with thteir games) - I'm just wondering how many people are affected by this.
No, my family are useless - I hardly ever get to play with my real board
Mr Scrub
Haven't even convinced mine to lear the thing!!
ive played wiv mine a coupla times, with my friends and such like. but it gets boring coz they is bad and then they wont play
I have no friends
lol. any way, my board is still in pretty good condition
I'm very sorry to say, my board is still in the box, as pristine as it was when it was bought. So no poll option for me.
I ordered the leather board almost immediately. That one is showing wear and tear, but actually, I quite like that. There will be a moment when the board will fade beyond playability, but that's still a long way off.
My other board, the wooden one that came with my Polished Tusk set, has had a very recent update thanks to the great help of SANEAlex. I never really liked the rather dull finish, but according to the DIY guy I had to know what finish it was in order to be able to do another one on top of it. SA helped me by asking Bernard. If anyone is interested: the original finish is based on white spirit, so if you want to redo it the new one has to be as well.
I used high gloss Yacht finish, and I'm very pleased with the result.
I'd have thought that being in the box it 'never sees the light of day'?
'never sees the light of day'
Hm. Mumble mumble missed that mumble.
I made mine out of cheese, which is a bit tricky to play on on a warm day...
