Good evening Thud players!
my name is omri , and i'm a B.A. student at the department of Computer Science (and Mathmatics) in Tel-Aviv University.
Iv'e been quite a keen Thud player in the last couple of months,tough there are not enough people I can convince to play againt me (and it's not that i'm very good).
anyway for the last few weeks, as a part of my graduation project (Web Appliction Development Course) ,Iv'e been working on an AJAX based Thud game, and while it is far from completion - I must say it seems to be going pretty well.
iv'e been working real hard on some nice new features such as:
- personal profile
- ranking system
- game history
- integrated strategy guide
Now... it will be a shame to drop this project after it is finished. Yet I cannot, and will not ,publish it for free on the web without the expressed permission from the game creator.
Therefore i'm here today, asking if there is a way to contact with the creator of Thud and for his permission for publishing this project, for free, and for the best of all Thud fans all over the world.
and allow me to make this clear - this is a fan-made project. I have no intentions to make any kind of profit from this project. and probably i'll even try to make it an open source project.

It's always good to hear from Thud enthusiasts that take the time to put finger to keyboard! As per my off forum e-mail and PM we're happy to work with you on this.
Basically my business partner, Dewi and I have the license for all electronic and online Thud stuff, assigned to us by the Holy Trinity (Pterry, Trevor and Bernard). That's the bad news. The good news is, like for Oograh Boike, we're happy to provide hosting and support for the project, provide you with API docs so it can talk to our server-side code and the Great Koom Valley Database.
