In the live game i think it would be useful if the names of those listed changed font/colour when they are actually playing a game against someone so that new people logging in could tell if they were playing already or not it would hopfully cut down on random challenges whilst in the middle of a game.

ps and to complicate things further a third font/colour if playing 2 games at once as when i do this 
i dont have enough screen left to see the shared window properly

Hrm - I do plan to replace the nicklist with a rich text version, which will show some extra info on people - what exact info, I don't know yet
Number of games ia a good one though 
Play windows should be resizable, so the screen-real-estate problem should reduce
Some clients might decide to have tabbed play windows insead, and flash any tabs that have changed since trhey were last active. I won't with the Java one though I don't think.
