I am very pleased to announce that the German Discworld Fan club has officially announced their Discworld Convention to be held at Freusberg Castle February 23rd thru the 25th of 2007.
Registration is open too all and sundry and they've been so kind as to have translated their convention webpage into English in order to make it easy for all English speaking Discworld fans to be able to register to come along too. The English version of the webpage can be found at http://www.discworld-convention.de/ and normal registration, including accommodation in the castle and half-board (plus a bit) is �47.50; bargain!
Dewi and I will be there and giving talks, as will Trevor Truran and Bernard Pearson. PTerry will also appear providing he can clear an already fully booked schedule.
It would be fantastic to take a UK contingent and storm the castle (erm, so to speak 
). If enough people booked there might be a case for hiring a coach or getting bulk price tickets from Mr LowCostAirline. let us know off forum if you are interested.
