There is a known issue on XP and possibly other Microsoft Windows versions that if you are running their early version of their Java then you can have crashes in live Thud when sending messages in the message windows at the same time as others.
The only know fix at the moment is to upgrade to latest Sun Java version.

If you still have problems please post detailed description of how crashes happen in this forum with computer type (PC/MAC/Other)/Operating system(Win 95/98/2K/XP : Linux ver : MAC 10.x) and version no. of Java if known. As this will be helpful to the developers of future versions of the software.
If you have had Thud related problem not listed and found a fix please PM me with problem and solution and i will add it to this sticky message
edit added 8/4/6 one member said they had problems if they did not have latest Flash but Java version seems the most common problem. So try to upgrade Java first then upgrade Flash if needed.
Note: Also reccommened to have screen res of 1024/768 or above so that you can type in the message box and also see the Resign/Suspend/Refresh buttons between the board and the message box.
