Could we get a counter on the users online up on the Thud Online-website.
Starting the client to find that no one is online is a bit of a bore.
Number of users online.

Kindof, yes.
But people would rely on it, even though it would be wrong (well, inaccurate) for all seconds after they browsed the page. What I'd rather do is have a live javascript chat thingus in the sidebar so's people could chat while forumming. Then there'd always be tons online anyway, even if none of them were using a full client (people using game-compatible clients would need to be shown in a different colour, I guess).
But yeah, as a failover for people without javascript, having an indicator somewhere with how many people were online would be nice.
I have to say, though, I'm kindof against giving people a reason not to open up the client. Would seeing nobody online be more of a deterrent than seeing someone online would be an attractant?
