Hi Y'all,
A little late but nevertheless...
10th of october 2010 was a special date, because in shorthand it can be written as 101010.
Which happens to be 42, in binary.
Which happens to be The Answer. You know, to Life, The Universe and Everything.
I don't think I need to explain Douglas Adams' Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy to you, do I.
I'm interested, did you do anything special that day? Something to do with towels, maybe?
I commemorated the occasion by postponing my sixth 42nd birthday by a week. Because 101010 was a sunday, it was a nice day to ask a couple of good friends to come over for brunch and dinner. Dress code: dressing gown, and don't forget to bring your towel
.
It turned out to be a nice sunny day, at least over here, so we got the chance to pose for a nice group photo. Lovely, a bunch of nutters in dressing gowns with towels in the garden. Heh heh heh.
Happy Thudding!

Hi Y'all,

OK, OK shut up already!
Let's agree on this: I will post (or probably put online somewhere at ob dot com) as soon as Lee has answered my email about Thud game sets for the Dutch Con. In the affirmative. Heh heh heh.
Don't get your hopes up, though. There were only four who actually remembered about the dress code, and one of them was me. But it's a nice pic regardless.
Happy Thudding!
