[MMO] Rival or collaborator?

In the last DWM there was a short note about a site trying to create a discworld RPG: here. It's not big yet, by any stretch, but presumably a lot of the questions that they'll be addressing will be the same as those that you need to look at for the MMO here - so perhaps a few quiet emails might prove useful

Is it actually a RPG or a series of text chat rooms? I haven't joined yet (May do to have a look round) but seems more a rival to the Discworld MUD. Anyone else looked inside?

I did have a look around. It is just a number of Forum-Threads where one can expand the story in text. So if you move into a place, you'll have to expand the text in a manner like e.g. blablablaos enter the doc district from the south, or something similar.

The concept seems kind of interesting, although I'm just not the type to write my own stories.

i haven't really had a look yet and i doubt i'm going to, but it sounds like something i did long ago, when i was still young and innocent *chrm chrm*. i found it a bit difficult to do because i didn't dare advance the plot in case i did something the others didn't agree with :-S
