Hi, Everyone!
Sorry to give a lifesign like this but currently (for three days, so far) I have a problem logging on to the livechat.
It's quite similar to a problem Hex had in January (see here: http://www.thudgame.com/node/1734).
My actual Problem is, as soon as I try to logg to the chat I get the Message Loggin in to Thudagme. Connecting..." and nothing else happens.
Has there been some sort of solution for HEX, wich I might try, too?
Btw. I've tried this node999 thing and get a rather strange Error message (see attached picture, and Yes I'm quite sure to be on the right Website 
).
Used Hard & Software:
An ACER Laptop 5021Wlmi
WinXP (SP2) - not very updated but I had never any Problems with thudgame before
Firefox (3.0.1)
Java SE6 - (downloaded after the first Problems, apparently without any success in solving the Problem)
Deactivating the Firewall dosen't help either.
Any sugestions?

That's interesting. It probably isnt obvious in the forums any more, but the live chat has been broken for all of us for a few weeks now... And cos Lee & Dewi have had to go and get "real" jobs, they're not as quick as once they were at fixing it.
However, what surprises me is that you're not getting the same errors I am - mine are "Normal Exceptions" rather than "Security Exceptions". I'm afraid I don't know why that is, but you can at least be comforted that you're not missing much

unfortuntely, i have to correct scrubby. it's not been weeks, but months. ever since a server move. the security issues date back to the same event. ang and i have sent emails/skype messages about both to dewi weeks ago, but nothing has happened so far. and i hate to be pessimistic, but i doubt that anything will happen any time soon.
edit: hmm, i just saw that your security issues are on the chat. like scrubby, i get the normal exception there. i do/did however get security certificate warnings when accessing the site (on firefox) or doing librarian stuff (on opera, but not anymore). i thought you meant those, sorry...
