www.thudgame.com page cannot be displayed

Could you give me more information about the lockup?
Did it just stop responding, or was there an error message?
Were you still able to chat in one or both windows?
Were you still able to highlight pieces?
Did the "refresh" button do anything? (this should maybe renamed to the "fix problems" button).

I'll also try in the next version to change the your/their move messages either to go to the private chat, or ideally to have a visual indicator instead of spamming either window. I've added this to the 2do list.

It just stopped responding i did notice the its your go in the game message box and "its their go" in the shared message box had got out of sync just before it totally locked up i was able to use the pointer to move over a dwarf it had the red line around the square but it would no select(go green)

I tried typeing in the game message box asking if it really was my go it allowed me to type but when i tried pressing return all action in that window ceased i then tried the other window and that was tottallly locked as well.

I dont think it was my pc as the forum window still worked but just incase i shut down and rebooted and that was when i found www.thudgame.com came up with the error.

Are you still getting the same error with www.t.c, or was that a one-off?

If you're still getting the error, are you able to ping the server ("start", "run", "ping www.thudgame.com")?

Are you able to get to game.thudguild.com and play from there?

The desynching definitely sounds like a bug in the client, as yousay. I've seen it desynch between two clients before, but never desynch with itself, nor crash or hang. And with no error messages, that's going to be a NASTY one to track down - please do let me know if you see it again, hopefully it'll do something that helps pinpoint the problem next time.

Info like that strange desynchingness between the two is very useful, thank you It at least gives me something to look out for, and trap for.

this afternoon it seems ok have played one complete game against jadon he said his browser glitched at one stage but he rejoined and the game continued ok.

ps in the game message board the "itd your turn" etc did not start appearing until about a halfway thru the second half of the game

Very strange indeed - I shall definitely have to look more into the turn indicators andsee what's up there.

Had another lockup this evening no error message again but it did lockup when i pressed return in one of the message boxes. but the games resumed ok when i relogged in

also the thudgame.com came up with the page unavailable agian after the crash when i went to www.thudgame.com but if i added \index it worked

ps forgot to say www.thudgame.com works again now ok i did a print screen of the message if you want me to email it to you

And it hung when you hit to send some text? Very strange indeed. But at least we know what can trigger it now, which gives me a better chance at duplicating it. Thank you.
