You might have noticed an interesting five hour outage where strange things happened: thudgame.com gave you certificate errors, took you to oograh's site, and to morganalley.com's site.
I'd just like to say now, for the record, that the cause of this was space pixies.
Space pixies are an everpresent threat to internet servers, unlike administrative cockups, such as, to make up an example completely out of the blue... an admin rebooting the server, finding when it came up that stuff wasn't working, then having two admins hacking around in httpd.conf for hours until thinking "hey why don't we just restore this from a backup..." and having it all magically start working again.
Thankfully, nobody would do THAT. But there are, sadly, still the space pixies to deal with.

Re: What was all that about then?
Two admins hacking around in httpd.conf? Who could they be then?! I say blame the Druids - I mean they set themselves up for it anyway... works for me
Anyway, yeah, we're still there... bit quiet I know, but ain't disappeared. Yet.
