Colour of Magic / Light Fantastic Premiere Tickets

So I'm guessing this is a full-fledged movie rather than a TV special like Hogfather? Or is that a bit too much of wishful thinking?

Wishful thinking, it has been filmed as a 2 part miniseries like the Hogfather but again it has been filmed in HD so it should look good on the big screen like Hogfather did. The last rumours i heard on the big film projects were that Terry Gilliam did not have enough money to do Good Omens and Sam Rami seems to have put the We free men on the back burner but those are fairly old rumours and things could have changed yet again. As HDDVD is dead i hope they are with a group that does Blu Ray as one day i hope to own a decent home cimema system.

3rd of march? that means i still have half a month to figure out how to watch it without waiting for the dvd to come out (and me going to england again)...

Sorry Ratty the 3rd is just when its going to be shown in a single cinema i don't think it will be shown on sky satellite until the easter weekend at least that was the date mentioned in the last rumour i heard and the DVD is likely to come out some time after that.

which gives me even more time . the hogfather dvd came out some 3 months after it was on tv, didn't it? and i got the chance to buy it another 5 months later. and I'M NOT WILLING TO WAIT THAT LONG AGAIN! *goes off to plot*

Well I'll record it onto VHS, and I'm up for sending that to anyone who's interested, but I dont have the neccessary kit to record to DVD. With the Hogfather film, one of OB's friends converted the video to DVD - I dont know if anyone could do that this time around.

i can convert videos to dvd. well, the video player can, anyway, and i'd be willing to find out how to get the damn thing to do it. so if you don't mind sending it to germany, i don't mind converting it and sending it back or on or whatever

I just had a word, by e-mail, with that same friend, and he's very (and I mean very) enthousiastic about doing this again. CoM and TLF are favourites to both him and me, being the first books we read in DW series.
So if you wouldn't mind, I'm hoping we could do the same thing again Mr Scrub.
But I'll leave it up to you. There's always bi *cough* tt *cough* orrent.
