Hi. I´m completely new here and I´ve played Thud only once or twice.. There´s one thing in the rules I really don´t understand - the troll shoving. It is not clearly said in the rules - when I shove troll, whom does he take? All the dwarfs next to the destination he lands on, that are not in front of him, or all the dwarfs next to the destination he lands on (the one in front included), or all the dwarfs appeared next to him while he reaches the destination? Or some another option?
Please excuse my english, excuse my confusing questions and excuse their stupidity :]

Re: Shoving trolls
Hi Monty welcome to the Thud site in answer to your question :-
A Troll can take all the dwarfs that it moves next to after it has been shoved onto a square tho taking is not compulsory and if you forget to take all the available dwarfs it is still a valid move and there has been some discussion in another thread to see if this could be a tactical valid thing to do. Also to clarify a Troll can not be shoved thru/over or onto a dwarf or the Thudstone and Trolls can only shove if they are able to take hope that helps.
Where are we going and why am i in this handbasket?...
...Oh! always try to look on the bright side...
... Um anybody got any marshmellows.?
