and lastly I live in the nice sunny Marlborough region of New Zealand where pretty much all we export is is wine...
I voted for Death before I was influenced by any outside sources. I voted for him because eventually everyone will have an appointment with him, I just hope to avoid mine for as long as I can by staying on his good side.

I'm your common garden variety kiwi, a cup full of English, Scotish, Irish and a small spoonful of other European blood with a dash of Maori and Island roots.

And an easy way to pronounce "Roflcopter" is to say the "Rofl" part exactly how you (or a kiwi, I'm not really sure...) would say 'waffle' but with an 'R'.
So its supposed to turn out rof - fill.
Or something like that anyway...

terribly sorry . i always hate it when people think i'm a guy, which happened often enough.

haven't been there i think. or have i? i don't know, need to check... i spent some of the best time of my life, commonly known as february to june 2007, in auckland and am longing to go back (and fearing it, because i'm not sure if i could leave a second time...).

The point is the government has a lot of left over tax payers money and aren't doing anything important with it (not even try to get humane wages to our Nursing industry or any other underfunded areas. Which is all of them ) and so many people in NZ are dissatisfied with the government at the moment.
But other than that New Zealand is a really nice place to live.
Hey Ratdeath, you should try going down south next time you come and try out some of our more extreme tourist attractions, Queenstown is probably the best place to go ^_^ I loved it there.

been south in my holidays. done skydiving in taupo, quadbiking in westport and zorbing in rotorua . xcept for maybe bunjee jumping there wasn't really much left by the time i reached queenstown (including money unfortunately).

Ha true, the theory of NZ tourism industry is that your money is worth more than ours so we can overcharge you ridiculously for everything, its still a riot though ^_^
