Well, I just got this game a few days ago and although I've played one or two games I'm really quite confused as to how to use the dwarves effectively. I think the best way to learn is to keep playing, so does anyone want a game? Preferably someone new too, though if an accomplished player wanted to give me a thorough trouncing it could be a learning experience as well

Very sporting of you btw. as i did wonder if it was a mistake on your part and would, therefore have let you take it back.
I wonder also; wether you are using the electronic thudboard that helpfully allows you to copy and past your moves - including captures etc.
I am, yes- but when I play against my brother, we just assume we want to take and don't bother to say 'takes.' And the program doesnt automatically assume you're taking, so I screwed up that way

In my (limited) experience, the dwarves almost always lose- the question is, can they get any trolls with them. You've got two, which I bet is more than I'm going to get in the next round!
