I just wanted to start a thread about Tony Robinson who not only reads pratchetts books on tape (rather well) but acted in/wrote sieries such as black adder, Nellie the Elephant, thomas ther tank engine, that annoyong car add which is a take off of smae and of course MAID MARIAN AND HER MERRY MEN which I used to watch as a child...sherrif of Rotting Ham...plus time team

In 2005 he was awarded an honorary Doctorate by the Open University for his contribution to the educational or cultural well-being of society
and an honorary Doctor of Laws by the University of Exeter for his active involvement in politics.
In 2006 he was awarded an honorary Doctorate by Oxford Brookes University.
not bad...I think we should all take this oportunity to worship with adoration and reminis about the joys he has brough us from our childhoods to present.

Not to mention his appearance in The Hogfather as well. also he presents "Time Team". yes i have slipped into geek-dom. all is lost. but yeah, great guy and funny as a bag full of weasles and mongooses (not mongeese. which is lame i feel)
