Unfortunately that one does not work as you don't have analogy's for molecules electron exchange etc if you moved it up a scale and had solar systems as your atoms then maybe, with the number of binary star systems it would be interesting if they were exchanging planets the way atoms exchange electrons but even then the model breaks down as the view of the atom as a planetary system of electrons circling a group of protons and neutrons is just one of those lies to children that pTerry, Ian and Jack go on about it the SoD books and that later models of the atomic world view atoms as having electron probability field shells where as we can with reasonable accuracy predict when and where the planets will be in the future.

Tho on yet a bigger scale you might have our entire universe of over 10^12 galaxies containing roughly 10^12 stars each being a subatomic flash in some other universes equivalent of the CERN. Makes you feel small does it not.? Twisted Evil
