yeah i hear metal isnt; as popular in that part of the world..Iraq had but 1 metal band tillt he war made them emigrate to syria where laws prevent them form getting good jobs sonce there's like 1.3 mil iraqis there now. Acrassicauda "black scorpion" they were I think they split up but there's a mini doco on them now on youtupe..look for heavy metal baghdad

@ang: in the "brittish" english 5 translates to one one it comes after lots but before many lots. and you know deep down that edguy isn't metal. I mean you can only sing about clowns in metal if they are demented and feed of abducted children...duh...heavy metal 1001

As a finnish metalhead, I take it as my duty to represent the opinion of most real metal persons of finland. If you go and ask a man in black with long hair about what he thinks of lordi, you will be hit with an enormous amount of the famous finnish swearing words. To put it simply, we hate Lordi. Not because of their music, with is just something pretty boring, but because they claim to be heavy-metal.
Now the metalheads are labelled to listen to that show-music hard rock of Lordi. Before this Lordi phenomenon and the most recent Idols winner of Finland, Ari Koivunen, who sings sort of Heavy Metal type songs with REEK of commerciality, we used to call ourselves "hevari". When Lordi and Ari Koivunen were labelled as heavy metal by the media, we had to stop using the hevari word. We don't want to belong to the same group as five-year-old kids who don't understand anything about music and old people who want to keep up with the times.

I never said they were metal...they are a good band, i like there music and the lyrics. Also i like lordi, i wouldn't say they were heavy metal but they are still good.

I am really into Incubus at the moment, a friend gave me a CD and i totaly fell in love with there music, music plays a bit part in my life, couldnt live without it.

1. The Beatles!!!! Best Band from the 20th century, this is one of my faforite songs.

2. Frank Zappa. One of his songs, they're all great i theyre own way. He mixes humor and good music to something Zappaish. If you dont know him or his music you should really try some of his music.

3.EMPEROR!! Although I dislike 98% of the Black metal. One of my favorite bands is EMPEROR. All theyr albums are great. There's so much energy in the music, you (or I)cant sit still with this. *bangs head* *bangs head some more* * is dizzy*
