Ok, im sticking with Nintendo for my choice. Metroid is a brilliant series, but Metroid Prime 2:Echoes is the icing on the cake. the graphics are stunning, the sounds and music are immersing and beautiful. The story line is gripping...and most importantly: the game is extremley FUN and the game play and controlls are just plain genius. Cant wait for the third one for Wii.

My faforite computer game was, is, and probably will allways be "Sid Meyer's Civilization 1" A very old game and I enjoy still after 15
years! The game was nearly perfect. You had so much options/possibillities. Dont let the outdated graphics fool you, they have nothing to do with the amounf of fun you get from a game.
If you've never played it you surely should give it a try.
I'm not sure if its legal to download the first civilization at the moment. There is a opensource civilization available; although i nevr played it. There are several places to download the original civ1 but im not sure if that would be legal. So here's a link to the FreeCivgame

Any game from the legend of Zelda series deserves to win, but as Twilight Princess is the newest, I'm going to vote for that.
I've never played civ 1, but civ 2 was an awesome game.

imo best RTS game ever made. Great feel, fast action, deep strategical planning, gigantic scale (up to 5000 units), innovative controls etc etc What else do you want from a game The graphics are still great after 10 years.

Stacraft 1:
I guess everyone knows this game, it doesnt need any introduction.
In TotalA its the massive scale that makes the game great, in Starcraft its the opposite single unit attacks, lots of micromanaging etc etc.

(lets get the old time TotalA vs Starcraft discussion rolling again. lol.)

These are pretty awsome games. warrioland is a bit of a copy of marioland.

Try wario ware. It's better. And if you like mario, then get a wii by 2008 as super mario galaxy is coming. and Super paper mario looks ace.

Ace, stars wars may be, but many games, suck do they. Yoda talk good at, may not be i.

NOTE: i am not advertising as super mario galaxy is not out yet and i do not yet own super paper mario though may do on 10th october.

i know its a bit kiddy but i loved the first 3 ratchet and clank games, the laters sucked sof far, however the ps3 version looks cool

i also like the, mostly psp-ps2 title Monster Hunter, pathetic name, cool game.
