Sometimes while replying somewhere i have to problem that after writing and pressing
'post comment' the same side appears again and i can write again and submit again.
it's like nothing happend at all, cuz the comment i tried to post disappeared.

absolutely, keeps happening to me, too. it's as if the site refreshes instead of posting. best thing is, i guess, if you copy (ctrl c or strg c on your german keyboard) what you wrote before pressing submit. saves you a lot of re-typing.

happened to me a couple of times too, so i got used to copy it before posting, just like ratty said.

Re: Posting Problems

Admin

(sigh) It's been happening to myself and Wizzard (IIRC) for some time...

Sorry, it's an issue with this theme and some of the client side code it uses. For some reason it sends a spurious 302 re-direct message which confuses the browser into thinking it's somewhere that it's not. I'm in the process of creating a new theme that (unless anyone mails/PMs/texts/smoke signals me soon with new ideas) will look rather like this one but be on better behaviour. Specifically we're looking to shave a bit of time off the download times and make the JS behave more civilly.

The workaround we've found to use is to click whatever link to add/edit content and, once it loads up, to click "refresh" and let the edit page load a second time. It seems to work fine then although I also copy whatever I've written to paste in again just in case Wink

Hope that helps...

Re: Posting Problems

I'm afraid that's not always the case - depends on your browser, and settings within it, I think.

Or you could just read the post above from Lee - he's already working on it, so however "persuasive" you are, I dont think you'll have much impact Wink
