H.sapiens started out about 300kya but even before that different types of ppl existed. currently we're going with ethiopia-kenya as the cradle of life but we're not sure for a few reasons, anyway australopicicenes started at about 4mya. so yeah, but they were sort of ape/men so u xcan call em uhman if u want or not..it's a bit fuzzy. but they did walk and after about 2mya they made tools too or at least used rocks
