The closest to a definitive list i think is on his agents website.

http://www.colin-smythe.com/terrypages/tpindex.htm

And

http://www.lspace.org/ has wide range of info about the books and links to other resourses

Making Money Future novel which Pratchett began writing after the completion of Wintersmith. Set to be the second novel featuring Moist von Lipwig. The title and the end of Going Postal indicate that it involves the Ankh-Morpork mint. A brief excerpt was read at the 2006 (UK) Convention. Speaking at the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne on February 12 2007,[citation needed] Terry announced that he had completed the novel. Amazon has currently set a release date at 1 October 2007.

Science of the Discworld
Science of the Discworld
Science of the Discworld II (The Globe)
Science of the Discworld III (Darwin's watch)

Tiffany Aching
The amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents
Hat full of Sky
Wee Free men
Wintersmith
When I am Old I Shall Wear Midnight will follow after completion of Nation [6]

Pratchett has occasionally hinted at other possible future Discworld novels. These include
Unseen Academicals[7] about football at the Unseen University.
Scouting for Trolls[7] the title of which would parody Scouting for Boys.

there are 5 short stories as well which you are ALL TO READ!

DruidThudmeister

I think you are missing the Chicken short story and the Santa Short story one was in a collection of short stories that i cant remember the name of at the mo and i think the Santa one was in the western press. Also there was a short Arthurian story where Arthur turned out to be a woman and there were rumours that at some stage it would be turned into full length novel. If my senility abates i will try to post proper refs later. Wink

good point...no.

WT* happened to the actuall thread? has the book list thread and mine melded? because this is bad, the point was to made a thread so that if someone added a book i could edit it into my comment so that it would always have all the books in the thread post.

and usually when u move a commen/therad ther's like a note about it by a druid. i can't see one.

It was moved as there was a live thread about a Discworld book list Hexon had begun only 2 weeks before. It's best practice (i.e. polite) to contribute to that one rather than start a completely different thread about the same thing.

That would be because an admin did. Druids are nice, kindly folks kinda like wizards whereas admins have read too many Death books. We'd post in capital letters if it wasn't a complete internet no-no Wink

Now we appreciate the sentiment and the enthusiasm accompanying so we have an idea we've banged about for a year or so - what do you all think about setting up a Thudgame wiki to document everything about Thud, the Disc, vaguely and tenuously related stuff, the universe and everything? OK, just kidding about the last two but, the Sergeant's enthusiasm made me think now might be the time.

Whaddya think?

Rather than remember all the places i have pTerry short stories in i managed to get a copy of the anthology "Once more* *with footnotes"

It contains amongst many others:-

"Hollywood Chickens" an interesting take on why did the chickens cross the road.

"FTB" which was originally published as "The Megabyte Drive to Believe in Santa Claus" in the Western Daily Press.

"Once and Future" The Arthurian story i mentioned and i think all the other short stories listed in this thread earlier.

Founding PatronLibrarianDruidThudmeister

I guess probably not like that - you've linked to an article about thud on a wiki, whereas if we set up our own thud wiki there'd be lots of articles within it, all of them thud-related... probably a "thud history" article, a series of strategy articles introducing the basics, then things like the Poons offensive (and Mazur's dwarf attack that OB mentions on his pages), probably some articles on great Thud games through the ages... who knows... but basically it'd be more and better than what's on wikipedia Very Happy

(But we'd have to make it that way - wiki's only work if "the community" gets down and does the dirty work of creating and expanding articles)
