Hi,
This is a standard post. This is one game of Round One, Heat Two of The International Thud Tournament 2007. Please see the topic line for who should be playing in this game. Good luck to both!
You should be playing two other games as well, as opponent to the two remaining players in your heat. Please find the other ITT07 threads that have your name in the topic line! And good luck with them as well.
Let me try to give a short list of the most important rules:
- Oograh Boike is referee for all ITT07 games, with Lee as a backup;
- this is not the only game you should be playing in this heat;
- immediately after this has been posted, the game starts;
- this game has to be standard rules and double unlimited;
- the 24-hour rule states that either one of you has to reply to this topic within 24 hours after first post[ *] with a first move;
- within 24 hours after first move, the opponent has to reply with his or her moves;
- within 24 hours after second move, first player has to reply, and so on and so forth;
- failure to comply with the 24 hour rule will result in loss of one point[ **] in first six hours after the deadline expires, another point loss in second six hours, and so on, untill another 24 hours have expired and the player who did not respond will be disqualified;
- the 24 hour rule stands untill both players agree on a score, whether that be the result of this forum game or an online game;
- this game will be closed and scored on april 11, 23:59 BST, finished or not. Next round will start the day after that.

it pleases me that you can play a live game against me (the other 2 in our poule cannot play live, pitty).
Then Sunday evening it will be. The best time for me is from 19.00 hours (GMT+1). It's earlier as I have written in my previous mails, but I cannot make it too late because I'm recovering from my illness (already 4 weeks) and I'm very tired at the end of each evening, that's why I can't make it too late. Hope you understand this situation and that we can play already so early in the evening.

First half played as live game
SANEAlex as Trolls 16 Palm as dwarfs 5 saved game on its way to OB.

As i said in the reply pm as we have played the first half out live i am happy to keep the score despite loseing 4 trolls

thanks for the understanding.
But I have doubtfull feelings by accepting that our first half will count in the total. In your game as Dwarve I will never come to 11 Dwarves or more, because we don't have the time to finish this game also to the end. So I will always get a minor in our 2 games.
But on the otherhand I can understand that 11 Dwarves against me is quit a victory.

let Oograh decide what is fairest and abide by his decision ok? you want to explain to him over the phone or want me to email him as well? dont get stressed over this as i think speak for most thudders we want you well again

Hi SANEAlex,
In a telephone conversation we just had Palm has asked me to tell you that due to his illness/condition he won't be able to play anymore. He is resigning from ITT07.
I was very sorry to hear that, as I'm sure you are too, but I think we have to respect his decision.
Please look for a post in the general ITT07 thread about how we are going to deal with any consequences this has. Thank you, and sorry.
