To celebrate the launch of the 4th Thud Set, the Gaming Edition, there was a Grand Thud Day on Monday 1st April 2002.

The first ever Thud Tournament took place at the event with 36 players in all competing for the trophies you can see below.
1st place - Becky Larking (pictured above, right) with a final winning score of +88 points
2nd place - Alex Carlton with +80 points
3rd Place - Jonathan Simons with +71 points
4th place - Jason Anthony with +67 points
A special award went to Monica Foster for being so generous in giving points away, ending with a jaw dropping score of -134!
